About
Robotics research shaped by hardware, software, and field testing.
I am Haoran Wang, also known as Cris, a master's student in Mechanical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. My work sits between robotics mechanism design, motion control, wearable sensing, and vision-based pose estimation.
Before JHU, I studied Robotics Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology, where I worked on wheel-leg transformable robots, insole pressure sensor calibration, drawing robots, and compact manipulation mechanisms.
Recently, I have been building a headband-wristband full-body data collection system and working with robot motion retargeting and teleoperation pipelines for humanoid robots.
